Show PARADE OF THE ! CLERKS TONIGHT Young Ladies Are to be a Feature of the Demonstration, as They March to the Music of the Band Many Automobiles Are to Take Part. Everything Is In readiness for one of the most Imposing night parades over given in Ogden by tho clerks of the stores, in support of tho movement move-ment for the closing of stores at 7 o'clock on Saturday evenings. The movement has now grown to such proportions that the proprietors of the stores arc endorsing it and will no doubt begin closing at 7 p m. next Saturday The parade to be given by the clerks this CYenlns will bo a splendid sight. The young ladles will march ae well as the men. Nlchol's military band has been engaged and will lead the parade. The marching clerks will be followed follow-ed by automobiles of the city, many of the prominent citizens having signified sig-nified their Intention of being In the I parade to show their sympathy with the movement. Not only will the local ar.toists be In line but the large number of aulolsts who are in Ogden today for the race meet at the fair grounds have announced an-nounced their determination of Joining Join-ing the parade. Barney Oldfleld nnd other drivers will ride In automobiles. The parade will move north on the test side of Washington avenue from the City Hall Square promptly at 8:30 o'clock. The paraders will proceed to Twentyl6Ccond street and countermarch counter-march to Twenty-fifth utrcet on the west side of the street. After marching to the depot and hack to tho City Hall corner, the parade pa-rade will disband and the clerks will circulate among the people, tagging them with the small l SHOP BEFORE BE-FORE 7 O'CLOCK" tag, of which 8.000 have been printed. |
