Show LION HILL CON. IS - READY TO SHIP ORE Salt Lake. .Tune 6. Manager George St. Clair of tho Lion Hill Consolidated properties,-at Ophlr, reports to the local lo-cal office that the mine is looking fine and that Just as soon as he can get the roads in shape to haul over he will begin shipping. He had thought to get teams started during the past week, but the big snowdrifts that had to be shoveled out and the bad places in the roads that had been caused by the floods required more attention that he had figured upon, with the result that he found it impracticable im-practicable to start ore down the mountain road to the railroad. The first shipment will undoubtedly be sent out during the present week, as will a lot of fine ore that has he,en accumulated by the men who have a lease on a portion of the company's property. Mr. St. Clair reports that he Is still sinking in ore from the tunnel level in the winze that was started several weeks ago. while the flat stope on the tunnel level shows no signs of quitting. It is likely that Manager St. Clair will be in from the property during the present week for a conference with the directors of the company", when additional information informa-tion concerning underground conditions condi-tions will unquestionably bo available. |
