Show strumcntal selections with artistic effect. The theme of the baccalaureat sermon ser-mon was, "The Teaching Unto Profit," and In developing the theme, Rev. Carver Car-ver dwelt especially upon the deep religious re-ligious conviction and life, als of the profit of character and the rich and larger life which would be derived from It. The sermon contained many illustrations illus-trations from real life. BACCALAUREATE SERVICES AT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH The first Presbyterian church was well filled last evening when the friends and parents of the graduating classes of Ogden Hiph School gathered gather-ed to attend the bnccalaurente services ser-vices of the class. Tho auditorium was richly and ta.stlly decorated with banners, bunting and flowers, the classes being represented bv tlieir Hags and colors upon the platform, I while even- where the orange and j black school pennants were in evi- , dence. Many flowers were used to : make the rostrum more attractive, and large groupings .f snowballs, I fleur de lis, nnd red and yellow roses i were mingled to make the sceno most attractive. The graduated class assembled In the church parlors and from there marc'ied t the section of seats roserv- ed for them j The music of the evening was ' worthy of especial mention. The two 1 solos of Mr. Saunders, given with a fine power and feeling of Interpreta- ( lion, were much appreciated. Miss 1 Mitchell rendered a difficult selection in a most appreciated way.
