Show INSIDE WIREMEN GET AN INCREASE. Salt Lake City, June 6 At a meeting meet-ing last evening between F. S. Whe-lan, Whe-lan, president of the district council of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, five members of the executive committee of the insido wiremeo's branch of the Electrical Workers' union and representatives of nineteen electrical contracting firms, the strike of the inside wiremen, which has been on since last Tuesday, was settled. Arrangements satisfactory both to tho contractors and the workmen work-men were made and the men will return re-turn to work tomorrow morning. The representatives of the strikers submitted to the contractors last evening a proposition to return to work on payment of $3.73 a day, which is an increase of 50 cents a day over the former scale. This the contractors agreed to pay and the strike was declared de-clared off. On last Tuesday seventy-five union wlrcmen engaged in wiring new building build-ing ceased work and asked that an in- j crease of 50 cents a day he granted them.
