Show RESOLUTION BACKS UP ' FIGHT AGAINST PINCHOT Sacramento, Cal., Feb. 5. A concurrent concur-rent resolution wa3 Introduced today In the state senate to back up the fight being waged In congress against Chief Forester GIfford Plnchot. The resolution authorizes the attorney attor-ney general to appear In behalf of the state in any action brought by the United States against citizens of this state, to collect taxes rrom them for their use of property owned by the fttate or the people thereof. The attorney general is further directed di-rected to assert and maintain tne right of citizens of the state to uso said properties free of interference from persons claiming to be officials of the United States, and thereby to be authorized and empowered to make such Interference. |
