Following an investigation of charges made against certain officials of tho county poor Tarm and others, the grand jury returned re-turned indictments against six pcr-j pcr-j sons today. Owing to tho prominence i of some of the accused and the startl-j startl-j ing charges made, the matter has ' caused a sensation. The following aro tho persons ludicted: Harry H. Pavimgardner, county commissioner. com-missioner. ' ' Homer Sutton, steward of the county coun-ty farm. Mrs.. Lillian Sutton, his wlfo, matron of the home. ' Mrs. Charlotte Baunigardner, wife of the couuty commissioner. Hoy Sutton, son of the steward. William Small, of Franklin. Daumgaidner and Horner Sutton are charged with assault and battery and their removal from office is recommended. recom-mended. ! The mat rem and Mrs. Daumgai dner are charged with taking for their private pri-vate use goods Intended for inmates. The matron's removal is recommended. recom-mended. j Raumgardncr and William Small have been arrested. Homer Sutton t and his son have not yot been located. Mrs. Sutton and Mrs. Raumgardnor are both ill. As socm as the Indictments were returned.
