Show twenty-five students were at morning wvice. Thoy filed quietly out of tho chapel and then together they fought the Hames under the guidance of the teachers, under command of Rev. Father X. Twellmcyer, president of Ihc Institution. The following buildings were destroyed: des-troyed: College chapel, exhibition hall, music room, college library, college col-lege museum, two dormitories, Junior study, junior gymnasium, and Junior library. Among tho contents of the building, especially the museum, were many priceless relics and valuable specimens. FAMOUS JESUIT COLLEGE BURNED Mobile, Jan. IS. Tho famous Spring I fill College, one of the oldest Jesuit colleges In the southern states, and which was well known in the United Stotes and Europe, was destroyed by fire today. There was no lo&s of life. The college, standlug on a high plateau, seven miles from the city, could not bo reached by the city lire-men lire-men in time. The fire started in the chapel and !s thought to have neen caused by crosssed wires from a moving picture aachlne. The three hundred and |
