CLOSING QUOTATIONS OF WORLD'S MARKETS PRICES IRREGULAR IN OPENING STOCK MARKET New York, Jan. 19 The course of prices was Irregular In the opening stock market today but the more representative rep-resentative 6tocks were lower.Changes were small in alt cases and the dealings deal-ings wero light. Wisconsin Central preferred advanced 34 and American Smelting declined as much. Buying orders were concentrated in the- soft coal and Gould groups, but I ihe general market showed some strength and rose to a parity with yesterday's yes-terday's closing. Top prices were, ! however, not maintained, realizing the ' reducing of the slight rise in the standard stocks. . Scarcely any interest was manifested manifest-ed in the recognized leaders of the Btock market during the second hour'n trading.
