Show WM. TAFT, HARRIMAN AND ROCKEFELLER IN AUGUSTA Augusta, Jan. IS. W. S. Dickey, chairman of tho Missouri Republican state committee, saw Mr. Taft today, presumably in the Interest of Mr. Nag-el, Nag-el, who Is being considered for arcab-lnet arcab-lnet position, preferably as secretary of the department of commerce and labor. E. H. Harriman Is expected hero from Alkcn today. He is the principal prin-cipal owner of the Hampton Terrace hotel, which Is a winter resort on the Scuth Carolina side of tho Savannah river. He has no engagement with Mr. Taft. ' 'The presidentelect said also ho did nol expect to see Mr. Rockefeller, who has Quarters at the Bonair. Tho oil r.iagnate has a private dining room and Is seen very little about the hotel. |
