Sir' I Thomas Llpton's yacht, Shamrock IV, challenger for the America's cup, was tried under her own sail today for thj& first time since being brought to this , 1 country in 1914. In a breeze of about' j ten knots, the reconstructed green racer was put through her paces on1 Long Island sound. In the aggrogate, she had about a 20-mile spin. Captain William Burton, who will sail tho Shamrock IV in the Interna-tlonal Interna-tlonal series that start off Sandy Hook ' July 15. wis at the whceel.
