Reports of tho publicity and community commissions com-missions were presented at today's session of tho church and community convention of the, commission on federations fed-erations of the Federal Council of Christ In Amorica. The founder of Christianity would have gotten along with reporters famously, fa-mously, the report of the commission on religious publicity stated. "Had there been newspapers in Jerusalem," Je-rusalem," the report continues, "every newspaperman would have protested in his heart against the crucifixion whether the policy of the paper allowed allow-ed him to protest publicly or not." The report pleads for the Intelligent cooperation of tho churches with the newspapers, for the sake of presenting present-ing to the public tho larger work of the religious organization but without glaring publicity. oo |
