Show Ogden Guard Officer Mead of State Body The Cavalry Officers' association of Utah was organized last nlghtat a meeting of national guard officers in tho Salt Lake armory, Capt. W. E. Llndquist, commanding Troop B being be-ing chosen president. The new organization or-ganization will be affiliated with that of the regular army and has for its purpose discussion of probloms arising aris-ing in Utah's cavalry squadron and possible betterments. Meetings will be held every sixty days in the various towns where troops are located, the next meeting being scheduled for Ogden. Og-den. Lieutenant Thomas was elected secretary-treasurer. A committee o throe, composed 6f Capt. W. W. Gordon, Gor-don, Capt. W. It. Burton and Capt. D. E. Blaisdell, were appointed to draw up by-laws. Representing Ogden wero Captain Llndquist, First Lieutenant Mark Cram and Second Lieutenant Ray Pearson. Confirmation of tho appointment appoint-ment of Lieutenant Cram is expected from state headquarters today. |
