Interest of tho entire stale Is being centered upon ihe complaint of the public utilities of Idaho has lodged against tho Northern Pacific and Camas railroad in an effort ef-fort to bring about construction or the north and south railroad which so long has been the desire of the state. It is said upon good authority that, under recent authority granted "to the interstate commerce commission, It has the power to compel a railroad to make extensions where it is shown that public convenience and necessity demand it. The Idaho commission holds this to be the case, and has asked the interstate commission to make an investigation to verify the allegation. |
