Show Alert M. White and Wallace White In the Service of Their Country ( AL BEm WHIT ' Mr. and Mrs, E. A. White of this city are the proud parents of two young men who have nobly done their part In tho war. Albert M. White in convoy con-voy service and Wallace M. White in tho army and stationed at Camp Humphreys, Virginia. The former" has had many thrilling experiences and the latter has been one of the most anxious army of young men who drilled for weeks In army camps and were "spoiled" "spoil-ed" the chances of going overseas, when the armistice was signed. In a letter from Wallace written) December 9 tho young man stales that ; ho is enjoying the best of health and I awaiting daily to be mustered out. He speaks of having heard from two girls : from this state, missionaries, on j serving in Chicago while tho other is I in New York City. Wallace is anxious I to get home now that the war is over.! Both young men were' successful j farmers before entering the service. |
