Show jlOiJROWERS TO MEET JAW. 14-18 At the woolgrowers conference Which will be held Jan. 14 and 15 at the Hotel Utah, several Ogden men, Interested In the growing of wool, will address tho convention. Among them j will be Homer C. Fenn, director of! grazing In the Forestry service and M. S. Marriott Consolidation of the Utah State Woolgrowers association and the Utah Cattlemen's association will be discussed dis-cussed at this time. C. B. Stewart, who is president of the livestock board and secretary of the Utah Statae Woolgrowers' association will tender his resignation from the latter position posi-tion because of lack of time to devote to his legal practice. Among the prominent woolgrowers who will appear on tho program are Wilford Day of Parowan, on "Taxation "Taxa-tion of Sheep;" Thomas Redmond, secretary of the state livestock board, on tho "Annual Dippnig of Sheep." Dr. R. W. Hoggan will discuss "Cooperation "Co-operation in the Destruction of Predatory Preda-tory Animals and Rodents;" also 1 George E. Holman, district chief of i the United States biological survey. . . - i Governor Simon Bamberger will give tho address of welcome. Tho annual address will be given by President John W. Thornloy oC the organiza-: organiza-: tlon and C. B. Stewart will submit j his annual report. It is stated that other talks will I bo "Problems of Sheepmen," by John H. Manderfield will speak on : "Co-operation with the Salt Lake j Union Stockyards and the Fat Stock i Show," to take place nest April. "Con- solidatlon of the Livestock Interests of the State of Utah" will be the subject sub-ject of an address by B. C. Parsons, vice president of the livestock board, and A K. Hanson of Richfield.
