Show uu- 0. 1, READ SAKS THE SOLDIER BOYS ARE HAPPY O. I. Read, vice president of the J. G. Read & Brothers company probably the largest Institution of its kind in the wost, has returned from a two months trip through California. He was accompanied by Mrs. Read. Mr. and Mrs. Read visited Los Angeles, An-geles, San Diego and other cities. Mr. Read made a thorough inspection inspec-tion of the training stations at Camp Kearny and San Diego and insists that the mon aro progressing splendidly In tho efforts to become effective soldiers. Ho says the boys he spoke to had increased in-creased their weight five to twen-ty-flve pounds because of better health duo to physical training. Some of the soldiers, Mr. Read states, encamped on the exposition grounds at San Diego. Mr. Read met Dr. A. S. Condon who waB looking forward to his return to Ogden. |
