Show LOGAN RAISES $2000 FOR RED CROSS LOGAN, March 1. More than $2000 11 was raised at the big Red Cross bene- 1 fit last night In Logan. Two basket- rlsBBBsl ball games were played and a big IH dance was held after the games. In 1 the first gaono betweon the First 'IbbbbbI North and Center street business JHH men's teams the First North team '1 won by a score of IS to 6. The Center 'l I street men were clearly outclassed, 'bbbbbb! ! owing to their large size and slowness, ' and were only able to score three I points In each half. The First North ' team was composed chiefly of Aggie j students, who are working downtown I after school hours, and it was due to I their speed that they were able to come out clvtorious. The game waa )! very rough and furnished the fans a continual round of fun. The B. Y. C. gymnasium, where the games wero t played, could not accommodate the 1 crowd, and many were turned away. , The second game betweon the llLH South Cache and North Cache teams ' was fast and close throughout. The , South Cache team Avon out by tho ll close score of 34 to 30. . Bird of the. IH South Cache team was taken out in tbe second half owing to an injury to his side, and his absence almost lost the game for his team, as they had an eight-point lead when he was f taken ' out, which was materially reduced. The score of the second half was 21 ' to 14 in favor of North Cache. Cut- 'iH ler, one of the best centers in the 'H state and a former U. of U. man, played with tbe North Cache team and was held to five baskets, which were all made In the second half. Many old Aggie and B. Y. C. stars were seen In tbe lineups and played in their old-tlmo old-tlmo form. Coach Jensen of the A. C. and Coach Knapp of the TJ. Y. C.
