CHICAGO, March 7 Fresh strength developed in the corn market today, owing more or less to assertions that much corn acreage might havo to bo abandoned as a result of a serious shortage of seed corn throughout Illinois, Illi-nois, Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin. Complaints of a lack of cars in Iowa tended also to hnrdon values. March delivery touched the maximum price allowed, $1.28 a bushel.
