Show - Society j ELECTION OF QUEEN AT O. H. S. TONIGHT. Tonight in the Ogden high school one or the other of the classes. Freshmen, Fresh-men, Sophomore, Junior Or Senior will rejoice as this is the last day of the election of queen for the Classicalia, an annual event at tho school which is always tho big fun-fest of the year nnd which draws funds for the publication publi-cation of the school papers, the Class -icum and Tiger. Many of the students are positive that Miss Cecil Bramwell, senior candidate, will reign as queen over the Classicalia while tho juniors are boosting for Miss Burford Johnson. John-son. Miss Ida Hansen, .sophomore candidate, can-didate, has a large following- as has Miss Rutl) Pingreo who was chosen by the freshmen class. W. R. C. CARD PARTY. Tho W. R. C. and friends aro invited to attend the card party to be given tomorrow afternoon at the home of Mrs. Anna Wadman, 1927 Steele ave--nue. The event begins at 2 o'clock and all are asked to be present at this time. POSTPONE ELEVENTH WARD PLAY. Because of the illness of Miss Bessie Bes-sie Peterson, who takes the part of tho Red Rose in the Eleventh ward play "Two Roses" to have been given In the ward hall tonight, Miss Minnie Moore Brown, who has been directing tho play has been compelled to postpone post-pone the presentation until next Thursday, March 14 when all are invited in-vited to be present Many have been looking forward to attending this event for which tho Eleventh Ward Dramatic club has been practicing for the past two weeks, each part being perfected. MEET TONIGHT. The young ladies of Queen Esther chapter, O. E. S., will meet this evening eve-ning with Mrs. Sparks, 2770 Grant avenue, ave-nue, for Red Cross work. |
