Wilson, charged with embezzling em-bezzling ?-100 from Amer Singh, a Hindu, was arraigned in municipal court this morning and entered a plea of not guilty. His preliminary was set for Thursday, March 14, and pending that date, he was released on ?S0O bond. The complaining witness recently caused tho arrest of Mary Wilson, daughter of A. D. Wilson, alleging that ho had given her mony and jewelry amounting approximately to ?500 be- cause of her promise to marry him, and later he was jilted. It is alleged in the petition that Wilson, the father of tho girl, was acting as Singh's agent and received the $400, February 11, and on March 2 appropriated it to his own uses. The charge against Mary was dismissed dis-missed prior to filing the complaint against A. D. Wilson.
