OCR Text	Show DEMURRER IS FILED IN ACTION AGAINST ' STflllD A demurrer was filed today by the deefndants in the case of E. W. Patrick Pat-rick against the Ogden Standard Publishing Pub-lishing company. The demurrer is based on the grounds that the complaint com-plaint filed does not state sufficient facts on which to base a cause of action ac-tion and "that the article published shows upon its face that it was a report re-port of judicial proceedings in a court of record and the complaint aforesaid does not charge that the said report was unfair and untrue." Patrick is suing the newspaper for ?50,000 for alleged defamation of character char-acter because of a story printed in the paper reporting an incident happening at a local hotel several months ago, in which he is said to have been active.
