Show SIM WORRIES THOSE AT HEAD OF DRAFT li UTAH Precautionary measures to thwart the possible spread of communicable diseases are to bo taken by all boards and officials having anything to do with the drafting of men into the army, according to a bulletin issued to the local boards today from the governor's gov-ernor's office. The bulletin gives a special warning against smallpox and is as follows; "At this season of the year there is a maximum prevalence of mild smallpox in some localities, "To modify and, as nearly as may be, to prevent the introduction of communicable epidemic diseases into the cantonments through the mobilization mobili-zation of selected men coming from districts in which communicablo epidemic epi-demic diseases exist, the following precaution should be taken: "Where smallpox exists in epidemic form, all selected men within the current cur-rent quota in the district in which the disease Is prevalent, should immediately imme-diately be vaccinated by the state or local health authorities if the selected men consent to the samo. "Where smallpox Is not prevalent, vaccination for selected men likely to be called for military duty is recommended recom-mended in order to protect the men themselves and the army from all possibility pos-sibility of smallpox Infection.
