Show SIXTH WARD HONORS us ri WAR The patriotic exercises in honor of the young men of the Sixth ward of Ogden who have joined the military service and the 'presentation to tho ward of a service flag bearing fifty-two fifty-two stars was held last night in the blxth ward chapel with a large congregation congre-gation attending. Tho program was in charge of Mrs. Martha Oborn, president pres-ident of the primary association of the ward. Supt E. S. Hinckley o'f the State In-oustrial In-oustrial school was the speaker and delivered a very impressive address. Mr. Hinckley himself has two sons in the service and spoke with full appreciation ap-preciation of the Sixth ward's contribution con-tribution to the fighting forces. I Mrs. Oborn made a short address, "telling- the meaning- of the gift. Bishop Owen M. Sanderson accepted the Dag on behalf of tho congregation and read a poem of his own. composition composi-tion praising the men who have entered en-tered the service and comforting those who remain behind. Sixteen young girls of tho primary department executed a march and flagl drill which was one of tho pleasing, numbers of the program.
