Show SERVICE STATIONS MISLEAD PUBLIC WASHINGTON. July 21. Attempts to mislead tho public in its advertising advertis-ing ot "service stations," were charged charg-ed h,y the federal trade commission today in a complaint against the Goodyear Tiro and Rubber company of Akron, O. The complaint alleges the stations are not -maintained by the defendant de-fendant but are dependent on individual individ-ual willingness of dealers and furthermore, further-more, that such service is commonly furnished by dealers regardless of the mako of tires used. Unfair methods of competition, also were charged against the company. Three other companies also were charged by tho commission with price i maintenance.
