Show WATER BIGS HE FILLED WITH LIQUOR Tho trial of Annie Glbelli, an Italian Ital-ian woman who was arrested July 15 on a chargo of having liquor unlawfully unlaw-fully In her possession, was begun this morning boforc Judge Georgo S, Barker Bar-ker sitting as a Justlco of the peace. At noon tho trial has not proceeded vory far in tho taking of testimony and was continued until this afternoon. The woman was arrested on Washington Wash-ington avenue, between Twenty-fifth and Twenty-sixth street by Deputy sheriffs Dick Wootten and William Lowdor who had trailed her from a placo near Wall avenue. In her possession pos-session was a suitcase which was searched by the officers and found to contain two gallon water bags, each filled with whiskey. rr |
