Show uu Deaths and Funerals EVANS The funeral of Hugh Sears Evans, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Evans of Ogden, was held Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Twelfth ward chapel with Bishop Thomas B. Wheelwright omciaung. Invocation was offered by Elder Hugh H. Jensen. The musical numbers num-bers were, "My Savior, As Thou Wilt," by P. S. Wright "O Love Divine," Miss Florence Jepperson; "Rest in the Lord," Leslie Savillc, and "Resignation," "Resigna-tion," by Miss Marian Browning. The ' speakers were President A. L. Sco-ville, Sco-ville, Apostle David O. McKay, and Apostle George Albert Smith. Benedic-. tion was offered by N. A. Gay. Interment Inter-ment took place in Ogden city cemetery ceme-tery and the grave was dedicated by Reuben T. Evans. JONES Thomas Elwin Jones, 5-ycar-old son of Mrs. Susan M. Barton Jones, died Saturday at 8:30 p. m. at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter K. Barton, 2921 Wall avenue. ave-nue. The child had been ill for some time acute Bright's disease. Ho was born in Ogden September 10, 1912, and is survived by his mother, a sister sis-ter and a brother. The brother. Barton Bar-ton Jones, is now in France with the American expeditionary forces. The child's father was the late Thomas W. Jones, at one time street supervisor for Ogden. The funeral was to have been held this afternoon in the Twelfth ward meeting house. Interment was in Ogden city cemetery. WATERS Nellie Waters, aged 4D, died Sunday evening at the family home, 2122 Adams avenue, of a cerebral cere-bral hermorrhage. She was a member mem-ber of the Eastern Star in Coffeyville, Kan., and was affiliated with tho local lo-cal ladles auxiliary ot the 0. R. C. The body was taken to tho Kirkendall chapel and will be shipped east for burial. RAF FERTY John Rafferty, aged 65 years of age, passed away yesterday yester-day morning about 10 o'clock at the home of his friends, John Genta, rear of 156 West Second streets Mr. Rafferty Raf-ferty was born in Glasgow, Scotland, where he has a sister and other relatives. rela-tives.
