Show THDS. BOSS ALLEGED TO HE MED LIQUOR LSI Thomas Ross, proprietor of a coffee cof-fee house at 265 Twenty-fifth street, was arraigned this morning on a charge of having liquor unlawfully in his possession and bail was fixed at $300, which ho furnished. According to tho report of the sheriff's sher-iff's ofllce, Ross was arrested Saturday Satur-day afternoon by Deputy Sheriffs Dick Wootten and William Brown when they made an investigation of his n1nrp nn n. srnrrh warrant iiml discov ered seven quarts of whiskey and four quarts of beer on tho premises. Ross entered a plea of not guilty and stated that he would engage counsel to defend the case, which was set for trial before Judge Barker of the municipal court, on July 25. |
