Show KELLY JURY IN FIRM DEADLOCK RED OAK, Ta., Sopt. 28. Tho jury in the trial of Rov. Lyn Goorgo J. Kelly, charged with murder In connection connec-tion with tho Vllllsca axe slaylngs, was discharged by Judge Boies at 1:25 p. m. today for failure to agreo on a verdict after deliberating since late Wednesday. It was learned that twenty-two ballots bal-lots were taken by the jury and that on a number of the later ballots olovon voted for acquittal and ono for "not guilty because of insanity." Kelly, It was stated, will be returned at once to tho county jail at Logan, Ia whore he will bo held without ball pending further action in the caso. H. M. Havner, attorney general of Iowa, who was In personal charge of the prosecution, said the state had no Intention of requesting dismissal of tho Indictment against Kelly. RED OAK, in., Sept. 28.
