Show C : : "N t Irene Bordoni TELLS OF HER FAVORITE EVENING GOWN V J Written for the Ogden Standard. By Drcne Bordoni. ("Best Dressed Woman In the Stage. ") The evening gown which I prefrr abope. all others Is made of black spangled net. There Is a fish tail train and a short oversklrt reaching to the knees. "This overskirt-has r scalloped edge. Tho bodice Is low-cut back and front, and also under the armB, suspended sus-pended by a single band of black Jet over each shoulddr. I like this gown because it is strlg- ingly beautiful, and yot very simple. The material Is rich, but the style is plain. I also like it because it makes me look slim and because the tall also adds to my height. Tho black velvet hat which I wear with this gown Is as simple in Its way as is the dress. And yet it Is quite rich and puts a finishing touch to the whole costume. With this dress I like to carry's black ostrich feather faty For Jewelry, I wear with it nothing more than a long string of pearls. |
