Show THIRD QUOTA OF MEN TO LEAVE OGDEN, OCTOBER 4, ON A SPECIAL 0, S. L IAIN Explicit instructions concerning the departure o the third quota of men from the county and city were received today by the exemption boards and place the. date of entrainment as .October .Octo-ber -I, Instead of October 3, as was formerly announced. The men will leave at 9 p. m. on an Oregon Short 'Lino special train. It was thought at first that the men would bo sent In small groups to avoid the necessity of a special train, but these latest orders seem to dispel that idea. "The county men will bo' called together to-gether on Monday for final instructions and orders before leaving. They will then be released to go to their homes, if they desire, until tho date for leaving. leav-ing. The city men will be called together to-gether on October 2 for final Instructions Instruc-tions and will be allowed to go home also, if they desire. In tho letter from the adjutant gen oral to tljo local boards, Instruction! are .given as follows: ."Under orders Provost Marshal Gen eral the quota of your county will en train for Camp Lewis," American Lake Wash., at Ogden, at nine p. m., Orcgor Short Line special, October -i. "White men only will be sent in this quota. "All necessary forms will accompanj the contingent from your county Should there be any likelihood of r deficiency of the quota to be furnishec by your county, this ofllce will be no tlficd at the very earliest moment pos sible.
