oo CUTTING 001 THE NUMBER OF TIE DEPUTIES The county hoard of commissioners today appointed Miss Ella F. O'Neill deputy recorder to succee Mrs. Elda Guerin was made on the re-commandation re-commandation of Recorder Angus An-gus Berlin, it being understood under-stood that one deputy would be dispensed dis-pensed with as soon as possible. Not long ago the county board decided deci-ded on a policy of rerenchment and requested that the recorder dispense vith one deputy. The county clerk was requested to get along with a reduction re-duction of deputies and the sheriff was required to have one less deputy. However, Mr. Belin explained to the board today that he was a little behind be-hind In the work of the office and could not well dispense with a deputy at this time. Bids for the construction of an Isolation Isola-tion hospital for the county north of the city were received and will bo given due consideration. There were ten bids for the construction work on the building and two were presented for the plumbing.
