Mills Will Not Resign Without With-out a Fight Preparing to Get Public Opinion on His Side by Working Through Students and Parents of Ogden. The school children, women societies, socie-ties, parents' classes, etc, etc., are to be called to the aid of Supt. J. M. Mills. There is to bo a gathering of people, the like of which has never been witnessed, intended to aid Supt Mills in making a big impression on the people of Ogden and especially on the school board. The Mills machine is being oiled and a fight is promised by the Mills that will make the school the school board. Friends of Mills everywhere seem to be active, while his opponents seem to be asleep. One Anti-Mills fellow fel-low was bold enough, to say In the words of General Kitchener "Mills has shot his wad." The people, however, need not be surprised if the Mills machine turns all the teachers and students out to make a demonstration in behalf of Mr. Mills, as the latter has an organization organ-ization that will work like "greased lightning." But will it strike terror into the hearts of the members of the school board? |
