Show Deaths and Funerals SMITH The funeral of Charles A. Smith was held yesterday afternoon In the Fourth ward meeting house. Blshf.p E A. Olsen presided and tho speakers were H. H. Goddard, Thomas E Frirr, President C. F. Middleton and Bishop Olsen. A quartet composed of Mrs. Mary Farley, Mrs Arthur Wilson. Orson Griffin and Bert Hadley sans "Shall Wo Meet Beyond the River?" and "Some Sweet Day." Mrs Farley sane "There Is a Land"; Orson Griffin sang "SavUus Comfort Me'; and Maud Farley sanrr" Beautiful Isle." The interment was made in the city cemetery, President Middleton dedicating dedicat-ing the grave. RANDS Funeral service for Mrs Hazel U Rands were held in the Tenth ward mooting house at 2.30 p m. yesterday, with Bishop T. P. Terry presiding. Mrs Kd Phillips and Miss Rawpon sang "Unanswered Yet" and "Jesus, Lover of My Soul"; Miss Sarah Erickson sang "Beautiful Isle" and Miss Rawson sang "Some Sweet Day " The speakers were J. Anderson, Ander-son, H. Peterson, and Bishop Terry. The Interment was made In the city cemetery, the grave being dedicated by Bishop Terry. |
