Show DISTRICT MEETING OF M. I. IS HELD IT HARRISVILLE Last night. In the Harnsville meeting meet-ing house, the first of a series of Mutual Improvement association district dis-trict meetings was held, with President Presi-dent James M. Thomas of the Y. M. M I A board of the North Weber stake presiding A large crowd of association members from the Third, Tenth. Lynne and Harrlsville wards were present and listened to the following fol-lowing program: Soprano, solo and trio. "The Sinner Sin-ner and the Song ' Ethel Bowns. soloist; so-loist; Clara and Iris Bowns and Ada Anderson Retold story, "Pap's Mission," Alta Ravon. Duet, "Come, Holy Spirit." Mary Xordquist and Pauline Chrlstensen Address. "The Mission of FlowerB,' Florabelle Taylor Retold story, "Benefits Forgot." Alta Al-ta Brown. Solo. "Resignation" Douglass Brian Address. "The Life of Helen Keller." Kel-ler." Lester Parry. Solo, "The Singing in God s Acre," Miss Watson. Each number was excellently rendered ren-dered and well received. Following the program, the remainder remain-der of the evening was passed In dancing dan-cing in the new ward hali, a number of the new dances being especially enjoyed. |
