Kp a pawn shop The gun had been pawned on Thursday. Thurs-day. February 10, for $8 by a man who gave his name as Williams and his residence 431 West Twenty-second street. This number was at once noted by the officers as being fictitious, ficti-tious, and as Harry Kay Walters pal. who was arrested at Brigham City and brought back to Ogden, bad formerly for-merly resided here and knew that there was no such number, suspicion pointed to him as being the man who pawned the gun. This suspicion may probably be proven well founded as, according to word received from Mr. Sloan since he returned to Salt Lake, he visited the police station there and found a gold watch and chain and some diamond diam-ond studs stolen from his residence, among the $700 worth of loot recov ered by the Ogden officers in connection connec-tion with the arrest of Walters and Kay. on |
