Show HEADQUARTERS FOR AMERICAN EXPRESS Salt l,ake, Jan. 18. The headquarters headquar-ters of the American Express company's com-pany's Pacific department will be moved from Denver to Salt Lake February 1. Tho announcement was made yesterday by J W. Rogers, superintendent su-perintendent of the Rocky Mountain department of the company, after a conference with J. A. D. Vickers, vice president and general manager of tho express company, and E M. Whittle, manager of the Pacific department. The change will necessitate about 2iiu() square feet of office space to accommodate ac-commodate the various departments affected by the change. Among tho department heads who wilj be in Salt Lake after the change Is completed are R S. Towne, claim agent, and G B. Vickers, superintendent of surety department. There will also be a large local payroll. Cause of the Change. Speaking of the change.
