Show ANNIHILATION OF A TURKISH CORPS Petrograd, Jan. 17. The following report has been received from Tif-lis: Tif-lis: "The army of the Caucasus ha covered its flags with glory by a fresh heroic exploit, haing completely complete-ly annihilated the Eleventh Turkish corps, with the exception of severaJ insignificant elements, which are fleeing In disorder. We have captured cap-tured all the artillery of this corps " London. Jan. 17, 10.50 p. m A l'ptrograd dispatch to the Central .Vows says : "An official communication Issued at 6 o'clock this evening says the Eleventh Turkish army corps has been exterminated near Kara-Urgan." Petrograd. Jan. 17. The following communication from the army of the Caucasus was issued tonight "In the region of Kara-Urgan the fighting is developing with the advantage advan-tage restlns with our troops. , By . bayonet attack we annihilated the Fifty-second regiment, the survivors of which. Including the commander and several officers, were made prisoners. "In one direction, where we were pursuing the defeated Turkish troops, we took more than 5000 prisoners, fourteen cannon, an enormous quantity quan-tity of supplies and nearly 10,000 head of cattle." GERMANS TAKE A TRENCH FROM THE RUSSIANS Petrograd Jan. 17. The following official statement was issued from general headquarters tonight.
