Show I MRS. SQMMERVILLE ON MOIL ECONOMICS The parents' class of the First Methodist church was addressed yes-terday yes-terday morning by Mrs. Mary H Sommerville, on the subject of ".Mural Economics. ' She treated the question in a manner that showed her to be not only well posted, but a most convincing con-vincing and eloquent speaker She stated that parents should educate edu-cate their children in the ethics of sex. saying that they should cut the cords of false modesty and not throw their daughters out into the world like birds with clipped wings, un able to fly, and then to kick them KG down for failing to live rigihteous, lives. Continuing, in part, she said: HH "We must guard our young from HS being caught In the veritable whirl- Hfi pool of iniquity that whirls in so HB many city streets and especially in Bn segregated districts where even the HH young children are corrupted. The HK parents should shield the huddling H5 soul of the daughter committed to their care. The bloom of maidenhood is being brushed off by so much pawing over each other and lally- Kg gagiring. We must teach our youth to avoid such physical contact. Too Rfc many do not realize the danger till Br' tbey have been burned."
