He was booked on the charge of vagrancy and released on payment of $F0 bail His case was' Called this morning in the municipal court and he failed to appear, the $50 being declared torteited. Pete Johnnon and Norma Hastings, aliened vagrants, had their cases taken under advisement. They were arrested Saturday evening on Twenty-fifth Twenty-fifth street, between Grant and Lin- coin by Mi'rgoani u 11 .uuuwimu and Jerry Kelliber. Jerry Casey entered a jdea of not guilty, to a charge of mendicancy, and iiad his hearing set for tomorrow morning. George D. Weaver aud C. L. Urlscoll were found guilty of disturbing disturb-ing the peace and were each ghen an alternative sentence of a $7 tine or .-even days In Jail. The duo were arrested by Patrolman William Brown, Saturday night on Washington Washing-ton avenue, between Twenty-fifth and Twenty-sixth street, while engaged In a vocal and physical altercation. |
