Show MORE RICH ORE FROM ALTA CON. Superintendent A. O. Jacobson of the Alta Consolidated has come down from camp, bringing samples of a new strike which carry as high as 300 ounces of silver alongside almost pure galena. "Wo arc now taking out from twenty-five to thirty-nine cars a day," said (Mr Jacobson yesterday, "but if the present good showing holdB out -we could mine fifty tons a day and never feel it The ore we are now taking out Is while opening up the vein nlong the white and black lime contact con-tact from the drift off the 125-foot raise. Everything is opening up so well that we are preparing to make ready to mine on a more extensive scale. We are also driving two drifts on the lowor level to crosscut this ore body at Its Intersection with the cross fissure.
