Show IN HOSPITAL AFTER BOUT. Peoria, 111., July . Phil Harrison, a Chicago lightweight, who fought nine desperate rounds with Harry Donahue of Pekin in this city yesterday, yester-day, is now in Proctor hospital, hovering hov-ering between life and death. Up to the latter part of the ninth round, Harrison had much the bettor of the milling. Shortly after the opening of that round it Is thought Donahue caught Harrison a heavy bhv behind the ear with his bare forearm. Harrison Har-rison immediately became helpless. Ho was carried to a bath house noar-by noar-by where a physician discovered a broken artery. He was hastened to a hospital where desperate efforts are being made to save his life. |
