Show 06DEN ELKS ARE OFF FOR PORTLAND The Ogdcn Elks mot the Utah Elk special at tho union depot this morning morn-ing and left for the Portland convention conven-tion at 1-05 a. m. Those who made up the party are: C. A. Boyd, district deputy; George Glen, past exalted ruler and delegato to the grand lodge; C. E. Dewolf, secretary, W J. Dalllmoro, Miss Julia Dallimoro, C. W White, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Horn, Mr. and Mrs J. W. Voi-ker, Voi-ker, Miss Sylvia Dee, Miss Hannah Deo, Miss Edith Reed, Mrs. Elda Guorln, J. Van De Graaf, Thomas Whalen, Henry Rosenbluth, W. A. Budlong, Mrs, Otto Meckes, Charles CaBtle, W. II. Williams, Fred Gentsch and Frank Rounds. The Misses Dee expect to make a trip to Alaska, and other members of the party will make trips to other coast points before returning. Several eastern Elks stopped off in the city between trains Friday to visit friends, and were entertained at the Elk club rooms during their stay Among those who stoppod here 'were John A. Tice of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. J. S, Podesta of Cincinnati Cin-cinnati Ohio (Mr. Podesta Is past exalted ex-alted ruler of Cincinnati lodge No. 5), Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Hanlon of Covington, Ky. |
