Show l 10 tit hJrt A& If B. OF L. E. ENTERTAIN. Division No. 55, B. of L. E entertained enter-tained their members and the ladies' auxiliary of the B of L E. Saturday evening, Juno 29 at a social and banquet ban-quet in their lodge room, K. of P hall, which was beautifully decorated for the occasion by Miss Huth of the Flower Shop, who desorves great credit for the beautiful arrangement and blending effect of the colors of the two organizations and the skill In the arrangement of the flowers anil green foliage. In the southeast corner cor-ner of the hall was draped the colore col-ore ci the G I. A., intermingled with the beautiful trailing green vines of our mountains, and under which the orchestra dispersed sweet strains of music under the direction of Mr. M. Crltchlow. In the riorthwest corner a cozy corner was artistically arranged ar-ranged In the colors of the B. of L E. The main hall was arranged In two sections, one-half of which was used as a reception and lounging room, and the other was filled with tables, where those so desiring could enjoy themselves at high five. Upon entering enter-ing the hall the universal exclamation exclama-tion was: "Oh, how beautiful'" At 10 45 p. m. the guests -were Invited to the banquet 100m, where the table? were loaded down with many appetizing appe-tizing dishes, arranged by that most skilled caterer, Mrs. S. H Winters, and which wore enjoyed by everyone present. Broti-er -L H. "U-j.-r'iEL, ic '-ils pleasant way, acted as toastmaster, and many lesponses and appropriate speeches were made. Brother W B. Murphy's response to the toast "The Ladles" was much appreciated, likewise like-wise that of Mrs. L. Demson to tho members of the B of L E Brother E. O Halsted, chief engineer of 55, spoke on the many good features of the older, and Brother J. H. Ward-lolgh, Ward-lolgh, who has just leturned from Harrlsburg, Pa., where he was in attendance at-tendance with the giand lodge of the brotherhood as delegate for this division, divi-sion, spoke at length on what tho order was doing for its members and their families After a rising vote of thanks to the committee and all who assisted in the entertainment, at 12 o'clock all departed for their homes Among those piesont weie Messrs and Mesdames E.
