He would express ex-press no opinion as to the probable outcome of the controversy. Judge H. H Rolapp is In New York representing the Amalgamated company," com-pany," said Mr. Eccles. Today Mr, Eccles came down from Cache valley, where he has been slnco his return from New York. Ho s'ayr. that his electric car line construction work In that section Is moving along smoothly. The extenBons from Logan north will soon be completed and tho roads placed In operation. Speaking of the prospects of another company building an lnterurban line In Cache valley aned extending south to Ogden, Mr. Eccles said he had no definite knowledge. He had heard, ho said, that a lawyer named Wells Is trying to promote an electric road In that section of country anil that some of the people have contributed to the enterprise, but that plans were merely tentative so far. "I have plenty of electric power in that country or will have when the Blacksmith Fork power plant Is completed," com-pleted," he said, "and my associates intend to go ahead with the extensions, exten-sions, utlmately to build In all directions direc-tions from Logan, and It is possible that we may find oif way to Ogden. The building is being carefully done and on a LcibIs that is justifiable In every Tespcct. There shall be no such thing? as a spasmodic burst of building on the extensions." |
