Third district court yesterday yes-terday afternoon and granted two in-terlocultory in-terlocultory decrees. Jennie F. McEwen, who sought an Interlocutory decree from Harry T McEwen, said that she married the defendant on January 11, 1912, and that they went to housekeeping at Mldvale. Almost at once ho became drunk and was drunk about all of the time, and when In that condition treated her cruelly. At times he called her vile names and choked her. Mrs, McEwen testified that her husband hus-band had tried to get her to sign over her property to him, and that she had refused, and had also refused to sign a deed' with him ansforring her rights in his property to his brother. Tho plaintiff asked for no alimony, but sought a judgment for $35 for money which sho had loaned her husband, hus-band, and also for $35 attorney's fees. A bench warrant was ordered Issued for Thomas Moore, who failed to respond re-spond to an an answer to show cause why ho should not pay Lulu Moore the alimony granted her. Tho caso of Tillio Waller against Lester Waller was dismissed and tho divorce suit denied because tho plaintiff plain-tiff had not resided In the county the statutory time. |
