Show BUM TO HAVE A CLEAN-UP BAY Brigham City, Sept 14. That the city will have a thorough cleaning up before Peach day, Wednesday, Ib assured by the fact that Mayor Thomas Thom-as H. Blackburn has rocommended that Monday, September 18, be observed ob-served in the city as "clean-up" day. In his recommendation, the mayor has tho following to say: "Next week all roads lead to Brigham, Brig-ham, and It Is anticipated that 15,t00 visitors will be guests of the city and in order that we may make a good Impression I respectfully recommend that next Monday, September 18, be observed as "clean-up" day, and we feel assured that citizens generally will bo pleased to spend this day In cleaning up their premises and the sidewalks fronting the same, and the citv will take care of the streets." Every effort on the pnrt of the city officials and Peach day officers will be made to have the city In an Inviting Invit-ing condition from the standpoint of cleanliness. The dust nuisance will be checked as nearly as possible this year. nn |
