Tho big game was played on the Weber's floor last evening, and was a splendid exhibition of basketball, and future games in this city will no doubt receive the support they arc entitled to. The first half was Weber's by a score of 23 to 13. and In the final half j the B. Y. C. were unable to overcome the lead, the final Bcore being -16 to 37. While all the boys are worthy of all praise for their good work, the particular par-ticular stars at tho baskets for Weber were Bolnap and Ingles, and for tho B, Y. Tho music was furnished by the school orchestra, supplemented with selections from tho B. Y. C. band. About 200 students and basketball fans from Logan accompanied the B. Y. C team to this city last night to witness tho contest at the Webpr academy. Tho trip was made by a special train on the. Oregon Short Line, tho train arriving here at 7 o'clocH The Teturn to the Cache yal-ley yal-ley metropolis was made via a special spec-ial leaving the Union depot at 11 o'clock. |
