An International Internation-al courtship lias reached its official end here in the signing' of a cdurt order or-der discontinuing the' breach of. prom, iso suit that Lleutenapt Edward Starz of the Austrian array brought agaln Miss Helen MeMurray of Trop, for $25,000 damages. The Austrian lieutenant lieu-tenant abandoned the suit on the adr vice of his lawyer. "The lieutenant was not mercenary," merce-nary," declared the latter. "His only hope in bringing the suit was to see Miss MeMurray and wm her again. When he found that he could not even see her he was broken-hearted. It is a very sad experience for a joung man of his type, and he is going away to try to forget her. The young officer met Miss MeMurray MeMur-ray in Vienna in August, 1910, followed fol-lowed her to Paris, wooing her ardently ar-dently and, in order to continue Tiis attentions, obtained a year's leavo of absence from his regiment, abandoning abandon-ing an opportunity for promotion. |
