OCR Text	Show WHALING STATION IS BIING BUILT Seattle, Feb. 10. The steamship Homer sailed for Alaska with thirty whalers, who will be Landed at Port Armstrong, near Cape Ormaney, Baronof island, whoro a big wnallng station is about to bo constructed. A wholo trolnload of boilers and other equipments will bo shipped north on a later Bteamer Three steel whaling whal-ing steamers for the company that Ib building the station will bo launched in Soottle in March. A Norwegian company, which is to bo managed by Captain Otto Sverdrup, tho Arctic explorer, is sending a fleet of steam whalers from Europe. Many new Canadian boats will be employed employ-ed during the coming season. --oo
