Show SIMPLICITY OF A GOVERNOR Phoenix, Ariz., Feb. 10. The devotion devo-tion of Gov-Elect George W. Hunt to "Joffersonian simplicity" has caused a conflict bctweon Arizona's first state governor and tho various Phoenix committees delegated to arrange for the- statehood celebration and inauguration inaug-uration festivities. Soon after his election, Mr. Hunt announcod that his Inauguration would bo marked by Jeffersonlan simplicity sim-plicity that, he. would walk to tho capitoj, take tho oath of office, deliver de-liver his Inaugral address and assume chargo of the state government Notwithstanding Not-withstanding this announcement com- tion. The entire city was to be gaily decorated. Then came word from Globo that the governor-oloct had disapproved the program. He refused to allow the militia loparado and the various committees com-mittees were in a quandary. The plans of the chairman of the parade committee com-mittee wero shattered because the governor refused to ride to the cap-itol. cap-itol. No one know even If he would consent to review the parade. No one knowns yet Governor Hunt is expected to arrive today from his home at Globo and concerted effort will bo made to get him to recede his position.
